Hernias : I suggest checking with your urologist that did the surgery, get his/her opinion if it could/should be repaired or not. A repair can be complex, depending on the size and your health. Some surgeons would prefer just to relocate the stoma after repair.

Most hernias are not harmful in themselves but usually get larger over time, can become unsightly with clothing, have to enlarge your appliance opening to accomodate the stoma stretching, or possibly change the type of appliance you wear.

There are several supposrt belts (Nu Hope has a big variety and can custom make them, there are other brands too) that will help reduce the hernia, give you support.

Not everyone is a good surgical candidate for repair, but anyone can use a belt.

Disposable pouches are not to my knowledge available in Canada yet. I heard about them about a year ago and that they are available in Europe. Meanwhile I use the mini dog disposal bags and a diaper genie. I awould love to have access to flushable bags also. Can someone give me more info on who makes them and if you can buy them in North America now.

pete, i like ww2 aircraft. i have seen a b17 bomber in person and they are smaller than i thought. however i think the fighters from that era are some of the most graceful looking planes ever built. what a rush it must have been to fly a prop driven fighter in combat in that era. the modern jets with their missels sometimes never even see each other except as blips on a radar screen, a bit unpersonal.

                                      THE GOLF NUT
-----
Ed and Harriet met while on a cruise, and Ed fell head over heels in love with the stunningly beautiful Harriet. On the last night of his vacation, the two of them went to dinner and had a serious talk about how they would continue their relationship. 'It's only fair to warn you, I'm a total golf nut,' Ed said to his lady friend. 'I eat, sleep and breathe golf. So if that's a problem, you'd better say so now.'

Harriet responded, 'Well, being as we're being honest with each other, here goes... You should know that I'm a hooker.' 'I see......' Ed replied, and was quiet for a moment. Then he added, '....You know, it's probably because you're not keeping your wrists straight when you tee off.'

Hi Vulcan, just wanted to add "I LOVE GUNS".When I was a kid they were in the family, mainly for rabbit or roo shooting.Or get that money back, lol,na I'm kidding.I was not allowed near them,as you could imagine. So never got the chance to even try one till my teens. And knowing what comes from using them ,it was hard to do.Didnt realise until I got the chance..It was just a.22 Pump action.Dont ask the name,no idea. But it was beautiful. So I have had a thing for them and Knives...or more the word, sword and daggers...Only for looking at...lmao...But they have to be exquisite in its own way..Ok well enough of that, Good luck with trying the new way with your shooting.sounds like fun...Take care.... I'm out of here...later Tarababy

That section of the form is always fun, I put 'yes please'.And I think some call it a Brain F*rt, I call it a Fly-by, makes sense to me- That great idea...it just flew right on over?!! (there is a real card for getting points to get cheeper air fares )ok, well here with certain place, like a grocery store....as the check-out girl puts your things through they will ask if you have Fly-by's (meaning this card )......I turn back and just say..."Yeah a lot" with that look on my face ..'oh you get them too?'...They are like......Huh? Then its a matter of if I want to stand around and explain or not.. Good service they get an answer, bad service I leave them wondering.. T
